Our role in your purchase

Harvest Link Sourcing connects the purchasing brief

We are an independent sourcing partner for harvesting equipment inquiries. Our role is to organize buyer requirements, support factory quotation comparison and clarify the questions that remain before a purchase decision.

Harvesting equipment specification review on a farm workbench
One written brief

A shared reference for buyer and factory

A corn harvesting request can look simple until the header, field access, crop conditions and maintenance scope are discussed. We keep those decisions attached to the inquiry so a broad product name does not stand in for the final machine specification.

The buyer defines the operation and purchasing priorities. The factory identifies the proposed model, included equipment and commercial terms. Harvest Link Sourcing supports the exchange and comparison; supplier identity, testing, conformity and warranty must be checked for the exact offer.

Decision milestones, recorded in writing

These are stages for a purchasing file, not company achievements or past customer results.

  1. Requirement recorded

Capture crop, throughput basis, working width, power, quantity, US destination and seasonal receiving target. Record the buyer's optional budget and equipment preferences separately from mandatory requirements.

  2. Proposal identified

Request model and supplier identification, a complete equipment list, document samples and a clear explanation of deviations. Do not treat a photo or a broad machine label as evidence of availability.

  3. Comparison reviewed

Keep factory price, header, consumables, packing, freight and support on the same currency and trade-term basis. Unknown costs remain open questions until the responsible party confirms them.

  4. Terms resolved

Ask the buyer and supplier to confirm acceptance checks, warranty exclusions, parts responsibility, payment and delivery assumptions before making a commitment.

Purchasing situations that need a clearer brief

Illustrative buyer situations below explain the method. They are not customer testimonials or completed projects.

Distributor comparing complete sets

“Does the equipment price include the header and the parts needed for commissioning?”

For this scenario, put complete units, separate headers and wear-part kits on distinct lines. The useful result is a scope that can be compared without silently assuming accessories are included.

Farm buyer with a seasonal target

“What happens between factory readiness and arrival at the farm?”

Record dispatch, transit, destination handling and receiving steps with their responsible parties. The outcome is a visible schedule basis, while actual dates remain subject to supplier and logistics confirmation.

Tell us what the equipment must accomplish

Start with the field conditions and the decisions you have already made. Include your crop and capacity basis, preferred machine configuration, quantities and destination so your request can be reviewed as a business purchase.

Where specifications are uncertain, mark them as questions. We do not assign a supplier rating from your budget preference or claim an audit, inventory position or manufacturer authorization without evidence.
